The New York Choral Society is grateful to all of the corporations, foundations, individuals – and singers! – that have generously supported the Choral Society. This support has made all the difference to our ability to help enrich the cultural life of the New York community by sharing excellent performances, with professional orchestra and soloists, for over 50 years.
Your support also helps the New York Choral Society contribute to the community through two educational outreach programs. Our Mini Maestros program introduces New York City public elementary school students to our music, and the composition of a chorus and orchestra. The children attend an orchestra rehearsal, and then they and their parents are invited to attend our Carnegie Hall concert free of charge. Our Student Outreach Program provides free tickets to students who might not otherwise be able to attend our concerts. Thanks to your support, we are able to provide seats to students for what might well be their first classical music performance. With your help we can continue and expand these programs.
Each season NYCS supporters are invited to join us at a Gala Benefit, honoring special friends of the Choral Society and often including celebrated performing artists. Guests enjoy a seated dinner, live entertainment, and a live auction offering an array of exclusive items. We welcome corporate underwriting, table sponsorships, and advertising in the Gala Journal.
Other ways of supporting the New York Choral Society include sponsoring a concert or one of our international tours, a recording of exciting choral music, or a commission of a new work. We also welcome supporters who volunteer their time and talents. The support of music lovers like you is essential! Thank you for your support of the New York Choral Society!
